About Us

Hello! My name is Megan Welwood and I am the owner of this little site.

I am a cisgender woman of English, Irish, Polish, Scottish and Finnish descent. I respectfully acknowledge that I am an uninvited settler living and working on the traditional Treaty 4 territory, the original lands of the Cree, Saulteaux, Dakota, Nakoda and Lakota, and the homeland of Métis Nation, known as Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.

I wear many hats, but for now the most applicable ones to share here are that I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association, Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist for Individuals,  Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) Trained Clinician, Mindful Self-Compassion Teacher and a Yoga Teacher, trained at Bodhi Tree in Regina.
